Conomos implements a progressive accident prevention program, and complies with all applicable OSHA standards and generally accepted safety and industrial hygiene practices.

Safety and productivity are mutually compatible and equal goals of the Company.  The safety of our employees is not compromised due to time or money restraints. Our Total Recordable Incident Rate has been less than the industry average for ten years and two of our last 5 years have been accident free.

John B. Conomos painters noticed a small area on the pipe they were painting where the paint would not adhere. On further inspection, they found a small pinhole leak in the piping. Knowing the hazards of ethylene oxide, they left the area and turned in a site alarm. When the emergency squad arrived they showed them what they had found. Outstanding response; it was textbook! Their attention to detail prevented a much larger incident. It shows the safety awareness these individuals bring to the job. Thanks to John B.
